Preverisk developed an e-learning platform for the Egyptian Tourism Federation during the pandemic to provide training.

During the pandemic technology faced a new challenge, to speed up all aspects of tourism’s digital transformation. In this instance, to promote self-training.

The Egyptian Tourism Federation (ETF) was looking for a way to encourage training amongst the employees of Egyptian hotels with regards to quality and specifics for the tourism sector. This was mainly for two reasons: Firstly because the situation called for additional preparation regarding good practices and the management of viral outbreaks and secondly because face-to-face training was not currently permitted.

Taking advantage of emerging new technology during the pandemic, a self-training system was decided upon. Quite a challenge, for which we had to find technological solutions and for which we relied on our technical knowledge and software systems.

OUR MISSION: To develop an E-Learning Platform for the Egyptian Tourism Federation (ETF), to achieve the following objectives:

• The development and digitisation of specific content: Two courses on the prevention of sexual harassment
• The digitisation of our own content: Basic hygiene; POSI
• ETF Content Digitisation: Sustainable Hotel Management
