At Preverisk Group, we understand responsible tourism as an ongoing commitment to destinations and to the people who make them possible. That commitment is reflected in how we support our clients, but also in how we engage with the environment and local communities.
That’s why, as the year comes to a close, through the campaign "Our greatest gift is to care", we launched several volunteering initiatives across different countries—close, concrete actions that share one idea: care is part of the way we work.
Mexico: protecting the environment and restoring natural spaces
In Mexico, part of our team took part in a clean-up, conservation, and restoration day at cenotes, helping protect natural areas that are key to the destination’s environmental balance and tourism ecosystem. Beyond removing waste, the initiative aimed to highlight the value of these environments, reinforcing respect for their ecological and cultural importance and promoting more mindful, responsible use.
Dominican Republic: supporting vulnerable people
In the Dominican Republic, we made a donation to support people in vulnerable situations, with the aim of contributing assistance and creating a moment of closeness during a particularly sensitive time for many communities.
Turkey: partnering with an animal shelter
In Turkey, we partnered with an animal shelter, supporting care and welfare efforts. This initiative aligns with a broader view of destination impact, which also includes protecting animal life and raising awareness to encourage more responsible coexistence.
Spain: spending time with older adults
In Spain, we held a community day with older adults, focusing on the value of companionship and connection with groups who—especially at this time of year—appreciate attention and shared time. Because responsibility in destinations is also measured by the ability to build meaningful connections and contribute to social well-being through presence and respect.
These initiatives are a natural extension of our day-to-day work: helping our clients operate with strong standards, a preventive approach, and an increasingly integrated view of safety, sustainability, and destination responsibility.
We will continue driving actions that reinforce this vision, convinced that the strongest tourism is the kind that protects what matters: people, environments, and communities.
Thank you to our local teams and partners for making this possible.
